Simple & Tasty Dinner Recipes

Hi guys, I thought I'd do a post on simple dinner ideas as I get a lot of messages from you asking for suggestions! Here are a few recipes and photos (also on my Instagram page) and I hope this gives you some ideas.
P.S. As you will see, pasta is my absolute favourite!

Homemade Beef Chilli
250g Lean beef mince
1 Tin chopped tomatoes
1/2 tin red kidney beans
Peppers, Mushrooms & Onions
Chilli powder mix
1 pack Basmati Rice
Tortilla chips
I heated up a pan with a little bit of olive oil,added the onions and beef mince and cooked slowly, then added the tinned chopped tomaotoes, chilli powder mix & vegetables. Cooked on low heat for about 40 mins. Heat up the rice in the microwave and serve with tortilla chips.
Meal time - 40 mins

PESTO PASTA!
100g dried pasta bows (or any shape of your choice) BTW I don't usually weigh out my pasta this is just a rough guide!
2 tblsp basil pesto sauce
Handful of grated cheese of your chois
Sweetcorn
Pine nuts
I boiled the pasta then simmered for about 10-12 minutes, drained and mixed with pesto sauce. I then added sweetcorn & pine nuts and topped with grated cheese.
Meal Time - 15 mins

Chinese Chicken fried rice
I used the Aldi Chinese Chicken kit which comes with the chicken, red peppers & sauce.
Sweetcorn
Mushrooms
Egg fried rice packet
I cooked the meat & veggies in a WOK, then added sauce. I then ehated the rice up in the microwave and added in the mix.
Serve with prawn crackers
Meal Time - 15 mins

Chicken Tikka Curry
I used the Aldi chicken tikka kit which came with the chicken breast, sauce & veggies
Pilau rice
Naan Bread
Poppadom & Chutney
I cooked the chicken, veggies & sauce in a wok, then heated up the pilau rice in the microwave and added to the rest. I heated the naan bread in the oven for 10-12 mins and served with a side of poppadom & chutney.
Meal Time 15 Mins

Homemade Pasta Bolognese
Roughly 100g dried pasta
250g lean beef mince
passata sauce
Mushrooms, Peppers & Onions
Topped with Emmental cheese 🧀
All ingredients I used were from @aldiuk
I heated up a pan with a little bit of olive oil,added the onions and beef mince and cooked slowly, then added the sauce and vegetables. Cooked on low heat for about 40 mins. Meanwhile boil the pasta and simmer for 10-12 mins. Always add a dash of salt to the water. Drain and serve, top with cheese
Meal time - 40 mins

Salmon Wellington
I brought a ready made frozen Salmon Wellington from Aldi. Popped in the oven at 180 degrees for about 50-55 minutes together with small potatoes. I seasoned them with a dash of oil & rosemary. Side salad.
Meal Time - 1 hour

Gammon & Egg
Unsmoked gammon steak
1 fried egg
Homestyle chips
Baked Beans
I cooked the gammon & Egg in a pan and cooked the chips in the oven on 180 degrees for abotu 40 minutes. Served with a side of baked beans.
Meal time - 40 mins

Spinah & Ricotta tortellini
1/2 pack fresh tortellini
1 tblsp Red pesto
Olives
Sweetcorn
Spinach
I boiled the pasta for about 5 minutes.Meanwhile I cooked the spinach in a pan for a few mins.Drained the pasta and mixed with pesto, olives, spinach & sweetcorn.
Meal time - 10 Mins

Chicken wraps
1 tortilla wrap
Raw chicken breast
Long grain Rice
Peas
Salad
Coleslsaw
BBQ sauce
I cooked a bowl of rice n peas with boiling water, and popped in the microwave for about 10 mins. Meanwhile i cooked the chicken in a pan and seasoned. Served in a wrap with BBQ sauce, plus a side of salad, coleslaw & rice n peas.

So I was lucky enough to receive some ready meal samples from @pasta_evangelists 🍝 (website below)
All I had to do was bake in the oven for about 15 mins! I could definitely get used to having these yummy meals delivered to my door! 😍🍴
