Before fully embracing the New Year, I needed some time to reflect on 2018..so here goes!
It has definitely been a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs. I have moved out my family home (something which i NEVER thought i would be able to do because of my eating disorder) to a new, exciting City. I have made new friends. I have met new people. I have stopped isolating myself. I have challenged myself (in my career as well as in my recovery.) I have gained weight. I have cried. But most of all..I have laughed and smiled. I left 2018 feeling very positive about life itself, with so many exciting opportunities ahead of me. I feel most blessed to be alive, healthy and surrounded by friends/family. I do not usually make New Years resolutions as such, but for 2019 I made one promise to myself; that is to never return back to my eating disorder, even if it feels tempting to do so.
I wish you all a happy and healthy 2019.
Love,
Stephanie
P.S. here are a few photos from the festive period!

One thing I adore about Christmas is the delicious selection boxes - Fox's biscuits are a family favourite!
